Morning Prayer

In the midst of raising four children, I've learned that motherhood is essentially "on-site training"—a mix of constant uncertainty and profound purpose. This artwork, Morning Prayer, was born out of my own need to slow down and remember that things unfold slowly.

Created on textured paper that mirrors the beautiful imperfections of real life, this piece features hand-drawn ink rays stretching upward, symbolizing the start of a new day. At the center sits a gold-leaf style cross—a focal point that catches the light and reminds us of the Divine presence in our daily grind.

I believe creativity is a tool given to us to make it all happen. This piece is a visual prayer for the mother who needs a reminder to just wake up, listen, and trust. It stands as a testament that faithful consistency can accomplish anything and that God sees us, loves us, and is with us in every moment.
